>> 📚 IBTN Book Club: How to Be a Moonflower — A Spellbinding Visual Journey for All Night Readers! 🔦🌌

Hello everybody,

Welcome back to your favorite blog about all things creative, multifaceted and colorful.
This has been a big week for books on the blog. First, I released my new book 'Hope Is' and now we have a new recommendation for the IBTN Book Club. This month, we would like to introduce 'How to Be a Moonflower: A Field Guide by Katie Daisy', a beautifully illustrated book that explores the magic that often unfolds after sundown. A collection of poems and ideas for night time activities like stargazing. There are also sections about nocturnal animals and the lunar phases.

Short Summary:

'How to Be a Moonflower by Katie Daisy is a lushly illustrated, magical invitation to slow down, embrace the night and find wonder in the world after dark. Through poetic reflections, gentle prompts and stunning artwork, the book celebrates the beauty of moonlit hours — encouraging readers to dream, wander and reconnect with nature and their own inner light.'

I ordered this book online a few weeks ago and I keep going back to it, especially at night time. The illustrations are enchanting and it really feels like diving into another world. The whole book is like a large collection of illustrations. To observe the wonders of nature, it is recommended to take a hike in the forest at night. If I were still in London, I would say: don’t do it. The book also includes a section with safety guidelines. That reminds me, when I was a child at Ferienlager (summer camp), we could join a Nachtwanderung (night walk), but only as part of a group. They even told us what to do in case we saw and were being chased by a Wildschwein (wild boar). In Germany, you could technically encounter one. The advice was to climb a tree swiftly if it happened to you. I’m thinking the same thing now that I thought back then: “Well, I could try…”

Looks like a friendly little fellow

I hope you enjoy the book we have chosen to feature this time. From the very first page, it's clear that the author possesses an exceptional talent for illustration because each image is not only artfully rendered but also full of personality. This book is another charming and engaging addition to our already carefully curated collection. We are always on the lookout for books that offer both visual delight and interesting storytelling and this one ticks all the boxes. We are happy to include it and can’t wait to hear what you think! 📖
