>> πΊπ» Performing a Successful Modern Life: Promotion of Isolation and Loneliness, Dressed Up as Hyper-Individualism - When We Were Made for Connection π³π³π³
Hello everyone,
Welcome back to your favorite blog about modern life!
I hope you are doing well. Before we peace out into the weekend, we would like to close off this week with an insightful video. Maur is questioning the perks of the modern life concept we are being told is the right way to go and also asks whether there are any perks if we live as isolated as we are supposed to in 2026.
A great video to make you think. π§
Our take: the promotion of hyper-individualism can turn isolation and loneliness into something we are taught to see as freedom, independence or success. When in reality, we are built for connection, community and belonging, to share our lives with others, in person. No man or woman is an island.
So ask yourself: to meet this promoted 'ideal', you follow the script, but are you truly doing well in this setup? At the end of the day, you only have one life, so who are you trying to impress, what are you really chasing and is it not time to truly connect?
Also, the constant men-against-women theme we see promoted so heavily.
When will we realize that life’s journey is not particularly easy for either side, so why not show some understanding and collaborate?
Of course, social media is involved in this problem as well.
I have told you many times, especially about engineered app addiction and the negative influence it has on people's relationships and state of mind, so you can just read it. For years, it has been tearing at the fabric of society and community. Everyone only looking out for themselves is the wrong path. It is a complex topic and a serious issue.
Villagers are obviously living healthier lives. Have a nice weekend! πͺ΄
