>> Time Stands Still For A Moment ⏰ When This Song Is On – You probably know it! ๐ŸŽน

Image
Hey everyone, I hope you are having a great start to the week. Welcome back to your favorite blog about statistics. While I was doing my research into becoming a local wedding singer, I found out what the top 10 wedding songs are and guess who is on number one? Nobody other than La La Land supervillain, EGOT achiever and gifted musician John Legend!! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ His song 'All of Me' was leading the top 10 on the wedding song charts in Germany and probably elsewhere too in 2024. I used to have a video of him playing it on the Oprah show in the good music section before Oprah took it off YouTube. Something you probably did not know, is that the song was co-written by a German songwriter/producer called Toby Gad. I did not know this until very recently. It turns out, he was involved in the making of many international hit songs in the past and present. Writing a song and bringing it to life is a unique experience, I can vividly recall.  John Legend in action To remind you what a great and ...

>> 'Creativity - It's What Makes Us.' We are meant to be creative! ๐ŸŽจ

Hello everybody, Welcome back. I am currently going through some of my London things and I found this map of the V&A museum. I think it is the 2023 version. I like it! There are quite a few museums and galleries in London, many of them free to visit. When I go to a museum, I find that getting an audio guide can be really helpful. You learn so much more about the things on display, that way. I get the English one. I remember doing this during my NYC years as well. The biggest highlight from that time which I still hold in mind, was when my parents came to visit. From my small town in Germany to NYC. We went to The  Metropolitan Museum of Art  together as part of our sightseeing program. We saw a real Picasso painting. It was absolutely surreal. I am grateful for this kind of memories. Why I was there in the first place, brings us right back to creativity.

>> Must Watch! When Americans ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Move To Germany ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช Culture Shock Unavoidable..

Image
Hello everybody.  Have you ever been to a country that was so different from your own that it took you quite a while to adjust? Well, this is often the case when Americans make the move to Germany. From language, to food, to shopping and free time activities, you will gain a whole new perspective on life if you discover a new country. Just like in the video above. Recently, I have heard about several Americans, who are in the process of moving to Deutschland/just arrived. Having lived in 4 different countries myself by now, I must say, really changed my world view. I have gained a different kind of understanding. And what are your younger years better used for, than exploring other cultures and surroundings than the ones you grew up in and are used to? I think you can only grow and evolve from an experience like that. If you like it or not, when you get back home, you have some international stories to tell! When I moved to NYC I also felt like I was walking around on a movi...

>> Can't Wait For The New Season? Meanwhile There Is A Stranger ๐Ÿ“บThings Pop-Up Store In NYC! ๐Ÿ”ฆ

Image
While we are impatiently waiting for the new season of 'Stranger Things' to arrive on Netflix, we are almost equally as excited about the Pop-Up store based on the show.  For a limited time only, you can feel like you are back in the 80's in Hawkins, Indiana. If you are in NYC you can find the store at 7th Avenue and 42nd street. Right next to Times Square. Once you are there you can:  sit on a retro bike,  hear 80's songs, personalize your own Stranger Things items, walk through Will's chaotic living room, play some games at the arcade and even  take a picture with the Demogorgon . We would probably just get a keychain or a hoodie but we would definitely take lots of photos for this Blog. >> ๐ŸฟMovie News: Action Overload Must-See! ๐Ÿ•ท️Spiderman 'No Way Home' ๐Ÿ•ธ️ A Villain Meet-Up ๐Ÿ•ธ️

Hello there! Welcome back to your favorite Blog. Now that cinemas are open again (hopefully where you are too) it is time for an action packed evening. And the sweet popcorn I am so fond of! ☺️ Spiderman - No Way Home is in theatres now. Anything for a colorful distraction from our current reality as this year is coming to an end. Time for the best Spiderman actor so far - in our opinion.  Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon  Tom Holland and Zendaya are so cute together, while doing the promotional rounds with Jacob Batalon, who is Spidey's best friend Ned in the trilogy. No spoilers here but be ready for more than just your regular 1 villain appearance. This is like a super villain meet-up. For more and the whole story plus the final showdown, go see it now!๐Ÿฟ all images  © Marvel Studios

>> Baby Owl Rescued, After Still Hanging Out In The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree! ๐ŸŽ„

Image
Hello dear readers! Welcome back. This adorable little saw-whet baby owl, was found in the Norwegian spruce that was chopped down in upstate NYC to become this years Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. The baby owl reportedly traveled to the city center inside the tree for 2 days and a total of about 170 miles. After it was found by the tree workers, it was taken in by nonprofit rescue Ravensbeard Wildlife Center , where it received food and fluids to recover. Once at the new place, the cute little fellow (plot twist: turns out it is a girl!) received the name 'Rockefeller' and will be released back into the wild shortly, after being checked out by a vet. In other news: After the unveiling of this years Christmas decoration highlight in the city center of NYC, people already joked about it on Twitter, saying this tree represents 2020 perfectly. Just because the tree looked 'a little exhausted'.. But the tree did not want to take that lying down, defending itself via t...

News: After All, Love ๐Ÿ’œ Is The Highest Power. Never Forget That. US Election ๐Ÿ—ณ️Joe Biden & Kamala Harris win big! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Hello, hello everybody! How are you doing today?! Welcome back to your favorite Blog. Did you have a long night as well? The last few days were nothing less than a THRILLER. Every day we were checking the latest updates and on some days the numbers just did not move for hours. Up to 16 hours sometimes. Looking back at it now, the first day was probably the toughest and most stressful. Once the democrats had a strong lead, it got a bit better.  Pod Save America kept us updated . I just thought the world was so silent during these days. It felt like the world stood still! Yet it was and still is important to #counteveryvote. NYC Wall Street Girl - I like you but you stole my pose.  I was there first. #Biter :) Kamala Harris will be the first woman in the position of the Vice President EVER! Also first black/south asian woman. Congratulations! Yesterday, finally the race was called for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. We are relieved. Now sanity will make a return to the White...

Starting off with a Christmas song it did not take long before the first bystanders realized, somebody talented is performing here.. Take a look at the video below if you are a fan or potentially would like to become one. ๐Ÿ˜Š

>> Why #PizzaRat Is Old News + Why NYC Pizza Is Absolutely Worth The Effort!

Image
This morning the hashtag #PizzaRat took over Twitter! What was this about? Just a video posted on YouTube, that shows a NYC subway rat pulling a slice of Pizza down the stairs with all its might! On a side note we want to say - yes NYC subway rats are real and it is not a joyful encounter to meet one of them at night when you and the rat are the only 2 beings on the platform. :) So why is this old news? Because rats love good food and we know that not just since Disney's Ratatouille came out years ago. Remy the lead rat does not only like an amazing meal, he also knows how to create it! #Talented. Based on our experience, yes NYC pizza IS the best pizza we ever had!  If you are in New York, try  Artichoke Pizza at 328 E 14th St . Soo good! We recommend it! :) #RatFREE photos  ©  Disney Ratatouille & Robert Alexandre

This photo is stunning! It is also award winning! Which award you ask? The Epson International Photographic Pano Award. Sergey Semenov won it last year in the category: Amateur – Built Environment . Yes, it looks like this city did not come about the natural way. From the time we have spent there we are pretty confident we have posted it the right side up. Ahh.. those were the days. Going for a run in Central Park. #Memories . (photo © SergeySemenov.com )
