>> Italy - A Sunny Trip To Tuscany: From Cinque Terre To The Leaning Tower!

Riomaggiore - part of Cinque Terre
Hello everybody!  Before it is Christmas, I want to finally take the time to post the article about our - still kind of recent - vacation in Tuscany. Clocking in even more family time, it was my first trip to Italy EVER! I had high expectations because so many picturesque movies took place there. The highlight of our trip was definitely Cinque Terre which 'is a string of centuries-old seaside villages on the rugged Italian Riviera coastline. In each of the 5 towns, colorful houses and vineyards cling to steep terraces.'

Riomaggiore is the first of the five coastal villages. You can get there by train from Pisa via La Spezia. All the villages are connected via footpaths and you can walk over to visit them one by one. Sometimes, a path is blocked for the day in which case you can only reach the next village via train. We also saw the leaning tower in Pisa and of course we had to do the pizza and gelato testing - like every good tourist! :) We took the train a lot, to see a different place every day. Grazie Italy, at some point we will be back.
