>> 🎬 Movie News: 🦖 A Box Office Hit Including Stunning Visuals — Jurassic World 🚨 Rebirth Roars to the Top! 🦕

Hello dear readers,

Welcome back to your favorite blog about dinosaurs. Today, we want to delight you with a review of the latest film in the Jurassic World franchise - Rebirth. The film was directed by Gareth Edwards, known for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Godzilla. Rebirth features six new dinosaur species, including scientifically updated versions of classics like the Dilophosaurus and Pachyrhinosaurus. Paleontologists were consulted to make the creatures more biologically accurate, including feathered dinosaurs. Jurassic World: Rebirth had the biggest global opening weekend of 2025 so far, pulling in over $310 million worldwide in just three days with a production budget of $180 million. Observation: While most of the visual effects were spectacular, the Poundland-style T-Rex, felt more like a budget-friendly afterthought while probably meant to be a nostalgic nod to the '90s. What a throwback!

Caution: There is a low-budget T-Rex on the loose..

Personally, I think this is exactly the type of movie to see at the cinema in 3D! If you buy a ticket, you know what you are in for with these kind of franchises. The director chose to shoot on film, not digitally, for more stunning visuals. The cast provided some good acting. Something that always bothered me about adventure movies like this or Journey to the Center of the Earth or Journey 2 - The Mysterious Island, is that no one in the group ever seems to be hungry! They are in a super hot climate, running, climbing, escaping, bothered by mosquitos and scared of jungle creatures but nobody ever says: 'Hey guys, where can we get a snack? I am exhausted!' They keep going for days and discuss all kinds of concerns but never food. If we put the dinos aside for a moment, how is this realistic or relatable storytelling? If I would go on an adventure like this, dinosaurs or not - I would bring a backpack with food. Not saying this would be my main concern.. but still a valid one. 🥪🍎🍪

We don't know what is in Scarlett's Rucksack but I know
what would be in mine - SNACKS!!

Judging by the sounds these dinosaurs make, a Stranger Things influence is undeniable. You too might think: What is the Demogorgan doing on this island?! Some of the filming took place in Pinewood Studios UK, combined with real-world locations in Argentina, New Zealand and Thailand. During the promo tour, Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali spoke about filming in the Thai jungles under monsoon conditions and Jonathan Bailey described chaotic shooting during mudslides, rain and tight shooting windows on Thailand’s beaches. The story also dives into gene editing and biotechnology. It draws subtle parallels to current debates in bioethics and AI. Steven Spielberg was involved as an executive producer, just as he was on the previous Jurassic World films. His role was mostly advisory, but still influential — especially creatively. We would say this is a film for the whole family - as long as your kids are 12 and up. It is definitely worth a trip to the cinema. 🍿 Thank you for stopping by here today and have a nice weekend.🪻
