> Film Review: The Hobbit - The Battle Of The Five Armies

#OneLastTime - Just about one week ago the big Hobbit world premiere took place right here in London, at Leicester Square on a green carpet! Part 3 or 'The Battle of The Five Armies' will conclude the trilogy by Oscar winning director Peter Jackson. If you haven't been able to be there or see the live stream, you can still watch a video of everything that went down on December the 1st HERE.

Last Friday, we had the opportunity to see the movie before the official start on December 12. Without giving too much away and to sum it up in one word - it was EPIC! If you haven't seen part 1 and 2 yet, you should definitely do that before watching the tremendous showdown, that is part 3. The film will take you right to where the last part left you.. with Smaug flying towards lake-town.

'The Defining Chapter' which is more than two hours long will bring you to a different world. It has everything a true Tolkien fan could wish for: Dwarfs, Kings, Hobbits, Orcs, Elves, Gandalf (!) and armies as far as the eye can see. The 3D-action scenes are executed very well and the fighting scenes are downright captivating. There were even a few funny moments, to make you relax a bit in between all of the battles.

Our conclusion is, that The Hobbit - The Battle Of The Five Armies is a grade A, must-see cinema event! You should also make sure to see it on the biggest movie screen possible to really get carried away. As an advice for parents, this movie has been rated PG-13. So if you love all things middle-earth and want to find out if the friendly Hobbit can once again save the day, get your ticket and some sweet popcorn! ★★★★★
