I Break The News

You are a movie fan? Good. Welcome to the future - where else would you find it but here at IBreakTheNews.com ? :) What if we are already so high-tech, that future movie posters will no longer be plain 1 dimensional over-sized graphics or images with a big title and a few photoshop effects slapped on it? What if the movie poster of the future is animated ? Yes - it actually moves and does stuff! Wouldn't that be the coolest thing? In fact, we can already show you what that would look like: Here are a few amazing examples of animated film posters by (most likely German) Imgur user:  Rindfleischetikettierungs-uberwachungsaufgabenubertragungsgesetz  who apparently put in all the work in creating those, then just disappeared. We would like to declare our excitement about what you have created here. Well done! Imagine big ad screens instead of or in addition to the movie posters we know. We would certainly like to see more of those.. Also, check out ...

Oh what a year it was! 2014 is now over and we want to remember a few of our personal highlights. The soccer world cup or Fussballweltmeisterschaft comes to mind right away because kind of unexpectedly, yet spectacularly - Germany won! :) The Hobbit movie really excited us and we have spent a night at the museum. IBreakTheNews.com gained many new friends and followers in 2014. Personally, I will start off 2015 as a Brunette . Blondes might have more fun but we will see about that! We wish you a Happy and Healthy 2015 - go for your goals and NEVER EVER stop!! (til you are, where you wanted to go.) Return often - we have many great things coming up in 2015!

#OneLastTime - Just about one week ago the big Hobbit world premiere took place right here in London, at Leicester Square on a green carpet! Part 3 or 'The Battle of The Five Armies' will conclude the trilogy by Oscar winning director Peter Jackson . If you haven't been able to be there or see the live stream, you can still watch a video of everything that went down on December the 1st HERE . Last Friday, we had the opportunity to see the movie before the official start on December 12 . Without giving too much away and to sum it up in one word - it was EPIC! If you haven't seen part 1 and 2 yet, you should definitely do that before watching the tremendous showdown , that is part 3. The film will take you right to where the last part left you.. with Smaug flying towards lake-town.   'The Defining Chapter' which is more than two hours long will bring you to a different world. It has everything a true Tolkien fan could wish fo...

(photo still: The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey) If you are a "Lord Of The Rings" fan - of course you already know, which special occasion we celebrate today. If not, let us fill you in: It is Hobbit Day ! In the legendary book set by J.R.R.Tolkien , Frodo Baggins and his uncle Bilbo share the same birthday, September 22nd . While Bilbo was born in the year of 2890, his nephew Frodo first opened his eyes to see middle earth, in 2968.   Reason enough, to dedicate this day to all the brave Hobbits worldwide . They might be small in size, but they do not fear a challenge or an adventure. If you are a fan of Bilbo and Frodo as well, but need some additional information on how to behave like a solid Hobbit, how to eat and party right, click the official Hobbit Day Instruction Guide above to enlarge it.
