>> Important Message: 🚨 Economist Jeffrey Sachs Shares His Perspective on Why Peace Is Possible Now - If Leaders Were Willing ☮️

Hello everybody,

We like to stay out of politics, but our wish for reasonable politicians, not war mongers in leadership, makes us get into it once in a while.

Today is a day like that.

Please take a look at the video below, in which economist Jeffrey Sachs shares his perspective on why, through diplomacy, peace can actually be achieved now - if leaders were willing:

'Jeffrey Sachs is a world-renowned economist and public policy expert, known for his work on sustainable development, economic reform and global health.
He has advised several UN Secretaries-General, led initiatives on poverty reduction and climate action and currently serves as the Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University.
Sachs is also a bestselling author and frequent commentator on international affairs. His long career at the intersection of economics and policy has earned him widespread respect and his insights on global peace and diplomacy are highly regarded.'

If you are wondering which side we are on, the answer is simple: beyond any citizenship, we stand with level-headed people who put diplomacy and human well-being above senseless wars for profit.

Those who push for war should not hold the highest offices of leadership.

This video is part of the BSW effort for peace.

Sahra Wagenknecht reminds everyone that all roads eventually lead to the negotiation table, no matter how long a war drags on and how many lives are lost along the way. She advocates diplomacy, de-escalation and prioritizing the safety and welfare of people over the financial interests of the arms industry.

She should have more power in German politics and as she works toward that, we hope she will get there eventually. It is not easy being an activist for peace in times like this, but she is doing it anyway — and that deserves our full respect.
