Hello everyone, I hope you are having a good day. Didn't I tell you this blog is about sea turtles? :D You know, whatever phase in life we are currently in, it is always good to ask ourselves: what do I have time for now that I previously did not have? When I was living in London up until recently, my office job took up most of my hours. There was still some time for creativity, but not a lot. Since I am currently in Germany, that is different. As you may have seen on this blog, I now have time for all kinds of creative projects and I think you could say I am definitely diving in. Which brings me to the latest one. I would like to call this one multi-dimensional because it has elements of storytelling, illustration, learning, inventing and community building.  I often think it really helps if you love the creative project you are currently working on and you can't wait to share it. Since it is not complete, I can only share a part of it with you today, but it is a good start....

Hello everyone! Welcome back to this Blog about arts and poetry. Your favorite Blog you just can't get enough of. I thought today is a good day to release my first poem, which I actually wrote in March this year. Since I am from the country of poets and thinkers, I might as well. I went through it again and this - Gedicht - is now finished. It is called 'New York' and I think it captures my time and experience there pretty well. I also made a German version which you can find below too, as you know, this blog is rather international. Hello everybody, Welcome back. I am currently going through some of my London things and I found this map of the V&A museum. I think it is the 2023 version. I like it! There are quite a few museums and galleries in London, many of them free to visit. When I go to a museum, I find that getting an audio guide can be really helpful. You learn so much more about the things on display, that way. I get the English one. I remember doing this during my NYC years as well. The biggest highlight from that time which I still hold in mind, was when my parents came to visit. From my small town in Germany to NYC. We went to The  Metropolitan Museum of Art  together as part of our sightseeing program. We saw a real Picasso painting. It was absolutely surreal. I am grateful for this kind of memories. Why I was there in the first place, brings us right back to creativity.

Hello everybody and welcome back to your favorite Blog! I want to talk about a problem I am facing: I can't stop being creative. Since many years in different areas. I wrote my first song when I was 15. Music was my number one for many years but as I got older, the urgency to release emotions and thoughts in songs was getting less. Also, life happens. As we all know, when we encounter difficulties and uncertainty we neglect our passions because we have to get through something.  Hello everybody and dear readers! During the lockdown I got even more into Graphic Design. I was working with and discovering different fonts. I could not really share my thoughts as much as I would have liked to.  This is why I have put together my first book. It is called THOUGHTS and it is a collection of 100 illustrated original thoughts by me. I realized, that in combination with the right image and font, a thought or statement has a different effect or impact. I ended up with so many images I created, that the collection would be even too much for my Blog to handle. Even though you can already see a few examples of these illustrations on the right side of the Blog main page. So if you enjoy those - I have plenty more! This book will make you think, add a splash of color to your day and you will get to know me better. 🙂 It will definitely be entertaining. So I've quit updating my instagram at the end of 2018 and what can I say, much less brain fog. Much less distraction.
