Get ready, Halloween is just around the corner! One thing for sure, US pet store  PETCO is well prepared! They have just launched a special BOOTIQUE   on their website, to make it easy for you to find the most amusing costume  for your pet. You can also find this special range in their actual shops. We love animals and we are not sure if they generally enjoy a dress up but we must say, the creativity behind these costumes is definitely   I Break The News  worthy! Based on a TESCO survey, 50% of PETCO customers plan on taking part in Halloween with their pet this year. These pet parents are looking to buy a costume or special Halloween toy for their beloved, furry friend. If you happen to live in the United States, you can bring your pet all dressed up and ready for some special treats, to a  PETCO store on the 25th of October at 2pm . There will be prizes! We just can not decide if this is the most thrilling bag/clutch/purse we have ever seen - or the opposite.. Yet, however we look at it, there is one thing we are not able to do - and that is: ignoring its existence! So we felt compelled to share this masterpiece of elegance and style with you! We have found it on eBay but unfortunately, all 2 of 2 bags have now been sold. Hello readers! It is a brand new week.. If you would not already know us as the innovative and surprising blog - we would surely be known as: The Daily Puppy ! Why? Because we have a big, soft spot in our hearts for everything furry. It is something, award-winning photographer Seth Casteel , can probably relate to. He started his career, by taking professional photos of shelter dogs. Thanks to him, many of them have found new homes. His career has progressed further and his latest project, is the book ' Underwater Puppies ' which contains amazing photographs of dog babies during their first swim and often very first experience with (under) water.   IKEA just came up with a brilliant idea that we absolutely love! What first started out as a partnership between Home For Hope and IKEA Singapore , has now reached the stores of the Swedish furniture brand in Arizona, USA . Life-sized cardboard cut-outs of shelter dogs are being placed in your potential new kitchen or bedroom. While you are strolling through the showroom, browsing bookshelves and shower curtains, you might realize your home, your family and your couch is not complete without a loyal companion . Each cardboard photo, comes with a code that customers can scan for information about the dog on display. This initiative, is drawing attention to an important issue. Too many dogs are sitting in shelters, locked away from a free life. We hope other countries and popular brands will join this important cause and inspire people to give a loving home to a dog in need . They look so innocent but there is no way to deny it any longer.. these dogs are guilty as sin! They tear apart shoes and furniture , eat stuff they were not supposed to eat or find another way, to make their owners life harder than it could be.   What do you get, when you take talented photographer Carli Davidson , put a dog in front of her lens and sprinkle him with a bit of water? You get these hilarious yet super cute portraits! The trick is supposedly, to use  a camera that shoots up to 10 frames a second and lighting which can illuminate a subject 13,000 times a second.  The result of these photo sessions is so engaging, that you can not only get prints of your favorite head shaker , there is also a complete book called "SHAKE" that will probably make you - especially all the dog lovers - smile a lot.
